Absolutely. Our systems are built with high-quality materials designed to withstand local weather conditions. Aluminum will not rust. Also, our system is most commonly installed in a suspended configuration with stainless steel fasteners and durable synthetic isolators. This ensures no direct contact with the chemicals in the pressure treated deck framing and the fasteners are sure to withstand the test of time.

Which dry underdeck system do you install?

We are factory trained installers of Magnolia underdecks. Magnolia manufactures their products in North Georgia and ships them directly to either Blue Crew's shop or your residence - depending on scheduling. This allows us to eliminate freight charges and pass the savings on to our customers. Magnolia Underdecks are 100% aluminum and are specifically engineered to be a completely suspended system that effectively allows water to be diverted, without any obstacles and drain through a gutter system away from the structure of your home.

What is so special about your screen system?

Our screen systems are engineered around a unique and proven flat spline technology, creating a stronger and more secure screen system than traditional round spline applications. The larger contact area of the flat spline helps lock the screen material firmly into the aluminum extrusion, reducing the likelihood of screen pullout while providing a clean, professional appearance.

When paired with our durable polyester screen, the result is a screen system designed to withstand everyday use, weather exposure, and the demands of larger screen openings. Polyester screen offers excellent strength, flexibility, and resistance to stretching, making it an ideal choice for long-lasting screen installations.

What if there is a need to access the area above my underdeck system?

We have you covered! Our system is designed to allow removal of any one individual panel without the need to remove others, a unique feature in this product segment.

Why aluminum and not steel or PVC?

Aluminum is inherently a lightweight material, in fact, it is roughly 67% lighter than steel. Most decks are designed to just meet code requirements. These requirements are the minimum acceptable design parameters to safely support the anticipated loads a deck will carry. Adding an aluminum underdeck system ensures you are less likely to compromise the integrity of your deck design. Aluminum also provides long term resilience, it does not rust like steel and it will not break down through harsh weather cycles like ZipUp style PVC (plastic) panels.

Will you need to remove my deck boards to install this system?

No. That is the beauty of the Magnolia Underdeck system. Rubber membrane systems are installed prior to deck board installation, or after removal of the existing boards. Our system is installed underneath your existing deck. This allows for a less intrusive and faster install, with a superior functioning system.
